My Career

After graduating from Niagara College, I began working for the Premier of Ontario and later the Ontario PC Party in Tour & Advance, Member Relations and Operations. Following nearly two years in Toronto, I began working for the award-winning Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games, Canada's Largest Multi-Sport event, as the Manager of Business Development. As a result of my work in building meaningful partnerships for the Games, we exceeded our revenue target by over $2 million which resulted in a budget surplus that was later put towards the creation of Sport Niagara. Further, the 2022 Canada Games saw an economic impact of more than $350 million, including $250 million in Niagara, and creating 1,940 jobs resulting in $117 million in wages and salaries.

Following the successful completion of the Games, I transitioned to the Pathstone Mental Health Foundation, Niagara's lead agency for children's mental health. While working as the Foundation's Manager of Sponsorships & Strategic Partnerships, I built fundraising initiatives like Mind Over Matter, and garnered grant funding from organizations such as Canadian Tire Jumpstart to support Niagara's youth experiencing mental health difficulties.

In February of 2023, I joined the Hamilton Tiger-Cats organization as the Manager of Corporate Partnerships for both the Ticats, as well as Forge FC of the Canadian Premier League. In 2023, we played host to the 110th Grey Cup, where we oversaw the first ever regionalization of the Grey Cup Festival, bringing marquee events like the CFL Awards and newly created events like the Grey Cup Business Summit in conjunction with the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce to the Niagara Region. These initiatives saw a direct impact in tourism, hospitality, and overall spending, as well as the creation of a regionalization framework for future Grey Cup host cities to follow.

Coaching Youth Sport

When I was a teenager playing provincial level football, I discovered a passion of coaching and mentoring youth through sport. Coaching has been one of my greatest and most rewarding passions, and I find tremendous pride in taking part in the personal development of our next generation.
